Within easy reach are the attractions of Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, Alnwick with it's famous castle (of Harry Potter Fame) and it's now world famous gardens plus the border town of Berwick upon Tweed and the Cheviot Hills.
Boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour are a short walk away where the bird and seal colonies on the islands are a fabulolus sight not to be missed. You also have an opportunity to visit the site of Grace Darlings famous sea rescue near the Longstone Lighthouse.
The area is ideal for walkers with miles of award winning sandy beaches, golfers, with many coastal courses available, divers with local boat owners operating for their exclusive use and in season, birdwatchers with many species including the famous Farne Islands Puffins.
